Founded in 2008, Confide is New Zealand’s longest-serving independent Qualified Security Assessor Company. Our mission has always been to help organisations build PCI DSS into how they already operate, and to guide them through every stage of the process.
We work with organisations of every size, from start-ups to international enterprises, across government, payments, retail and services. With QSAs in Wellington and Auckland, we support clients throughout New Zealand, Australia and the wider APAC region.

Paul is an investor, entrepreneur and business builder. Creating and growing businesses that serve and help develop the New Zealand economy is one of his passions.
He leads the operations of Confide and provides leadership and strategic direction, while engaging with organisations to highlight the benefits of security and compliance.
Nicole Braun
Associate director of security

Nicole has a legal and technical background with an interest in security at the human level. As an experienced QSA, she advises and assists customers in achieving compliance in an effective way, with a real focus on sustainable compliance.
Her clear communication, legal background and passion for seeing New Zealand companies secure and thriving provide real value to our customers.
Stuart Campbell
Customer success lead

Being involved in all things people, Stu’s main focus is managing and developing relationships with customers, partners and the wider PCI community. Approachable and proactive, he is often your first point of contact, working with Nicole to help customers understand their path to compliance.
As a Payment Card Industry Professional, Stu also performs a number of quality assurance tasks on compliance activities.

Viva brings more than 11 years of experience in merchant compliance, gained through her work with New Zealand’s major trading banks. As a key part of our QSA team, she combines deep industry knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach.
Her background in risk, compliance and merchant services enables her to deliver clear guidance and trusted support tailored to each client’s needs.
Dominic Ritchie

Dom has a strong background in technology operations, systems administration and the management of complex IT environments, spanning organisations of all sizes.
Alongside managing our cardholder data scanning services, he supports the QSA team with technical investigations and provides quality assurance across our compliance and assessment activities.
